Canoeing on the Ardèche river
Canoeing is probably the main activity in the Ardèche, especially the part where you follow the Gorges de l’Ardèche. To give you an easy access to this activity, the Domaine des Blachas has some canoes for rent in the Domain; you can leave from the beach and a bus will take you back.
An option for everyone
Several descents on the Ardèche river are proposed according to the period of the year. We will provide you the needed equipment (canoe, paddle, life jacket, waterproof can) and give you instructions and rules to make sure you have a safe and pleasant trip.
The options
Mini descent 5 km
Journey: 5 km - Time: 1/2 day
A short descent for the whole family to discover canoeing and pass under the Pont d'Arc.
Descent 13 km
Journey: 13 km - Time: 1 day
Use the slides and cross some rapids while discovering the Gorges between the swim breaks.
Maxi descent 27 km
Journey: 24 km - Time: 1 or 2 days
The Gorges de l'Ardèche at your own pace over 1 or 2 days with the possibility of a bivouac after reservation by the central reservation line.

What to take?
- Wear shoes with hard soles
- Cap, sunglasses, sun cream to protect you from the sun
- A string on your glasses if you wear some
